I transformed two pieces of firewood into a pair of charming boxes, each containing two drawers. The top box was crafted from wild cherry, featuring its distinct bark, while the bottom one was fashioned from a maple firewood log. These boxes would be a delightful addition to any room, whether decorated in a modern or rustic style. They are perfect for storing small items, such as jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings), cufflinks, keys, or even candies.

To protect the wood, I applied a layer of tung oil, and the bark was coated with epoxy resin. Box measures 15 x 13 x 12 cm (5.9 x 5.1 x 4.7 inches).
